A football weekend

We had a great weekend filled with lots of Football. It was the season opener Jamboree. P#1 lost his 1st game( I'm guessing cause of nerves!) But then won the 2nd and 3rd game. In game 2 he ran one in for a touchdown. In Game 3 the R.B. made 3 touchdowns!! Then afterwards we stayed at a hotel with the hubs rents and had lots of fun at the pool!!

Week of randomness

Our fishing day out at the Columbia River.

P#1's Football practice
And this is what #2 & #3 do, get to play while big brother practices.

Our Giant pumpkin, I used P#3 as a prop so you can see how big it is! And it still has about 2 months to grow.

Something cute and easy

I had this frame from a vanity I found on the sidewalk to get thrown away, I recycled the vanity part into a computer desk,( sanded, painted), and this has been sitting in the garage for awhile, broken mirror and all. I was bored so decided to do something w/ it. I'm very happy w/ it. Although my original purpose for it was to be in the kitchen to put my recipes in, but my kitchen is soo small and lacks wall space. Oh well, this will work for now.

The kids were invited to one of the neighborhood kids birthday party. She is the little sister to P#1's best friend.I have totally forgot( or maybe never knew, P#2 was a diva by this age!)what a 3 yr. old likes. So after a long time out in Blog land, I found this super cute tutorial, and it turned out perfect!! I can't wait to make more.Plus I need to practice more on my applique skills, which currently are NOT very good!!

I got this idea from MaKC Creations. You can visit her blog here.
